volunteer-opportunitiesSYDRC aims to make our activities as accessible, sociable and rewarding for our volunteers as possible. That means you can drop in and out of our tasks when you have some time spare, or commit on a regular basis. And it means we will always try to create opportunities which are fun, and based on human interaction. Our volunteers play a valuable part in supporting the services we offer. All volunteers work under the supervision of experienced staff.

Therefore, you can get involved our volunteering programme and become one of the following:

Football Coach

We are looking for volunteers to coach football sessions in the evening and weekends. Volunteers will receive training to become a qualified coach.

Become a mentor

Support a young person in developing their education, employability skills whilst boosting their confidence and helping them fulfil their potential.


We are looking for people with media experience in order to help young people to tell their stories. We need support in: filming, photography, graphic design and website updates.

Support out in the office

Join our small team in the office and provide much needed administrative support.

Support with event

Join us one of our many community events as a planner, first aider, master ceremony or steward

Support us Fundraise

We are looking for experienced fundraisers to help us secure funding in order to continue to support disadvantaged young people.
